3. THE NEXT DAY
As soon as we wake we go outside to look. Alas, the mother has not retuned. All four hedgehogs are squeaking and wandering through the grass.
Fortunately the weather has been warm; otherwise they probably wouldn't have survived the night.
We decide on action.
We find a lot of information on internet, but nothing about what to do if there are no experts at hand.
We email a hedgehog rescue centre.
The hedgehogs are visibly weakening. They are crawling less and screaming in panic. We need help now, but where shall we find it? ->
