2. WITHOUT MOTHER..

There is a tiny hedgehog. And another, and another, and another… four tiny hedgehogs in the garden! They are squeaking madly. We have no idea what we should do.

After a brief discussion we decide to leave them be. Their mother will surely be back for them. We don’t touch them, so that the mother won’t be disturbed by our smell.

We find a nest in the hedge, on a steep slope. Now who would build a nest on a slope? The nest has rolled down the slope and fallen apart, and the little ones will never be able to find it. But perhaps their mother will carry them off somewhere else?  ->
